In this case, the period used for Rankings Momentum was 1/1/2015 to 10/1/2016. Fighters must have been ranked in at least four quarters during the period to be included. Tapology scores are as of Dec. 2 at 8:22 a.m. ET. Betting odds are from 5Dimes as of Dec. 2 at 8:20 a.m. ET.

On the Spike.com undercard, Jarod Trice will make his MMA debut. He is the latest Bellator crossover from wrestling. Trice was a three-time All-American at Central Michigan with his best finish being 4th at heavyweight in 2011. Since college he has competed extensively in both freestyle and Greco-Roman. At heavyweight, he had impressive skill, movement and athleticism. Towards the end of his wrestling career, he dropped down a weight class, and he will compete in MMA at 205. It remains to be seen if he will still have those advantages at a lower weight class.

For UFC events, StrikeScoreMMA.com puts together a Fight Forecast. The preview shows the fighter's StrikeScore, betting odds, fantasy stats and so on. However, there are not fantasy numbers available for non-UFC events and striking stats are rarely available. So, using Fight Matrix numbers, we have come up with the following Fight Forecast for Bellator 154. The table below shows the fighter's current ranking, Rankings Momentum, peak ranking and the date of the quarter in which the fighter had their peak ranking.

With seven fighters ranked inside the Fight Matrix top 20, light heavyweight is one of Bellator’s stronger divisions. Joining Phil Davis (#4) and Muhammed Lawal (#10) in the top 20 are champion Liam McGeary (#8), Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (#11), Linton Vassell (#16), Tito Ortiz (#18) and Francis Carmont (#20). 

“Cyborg” is riding an even 2 in the Rankings Momentum department. That number will mostly likely rise greatly in the next quarter. His victory over Brennan Ward last time out, moved his ranking all the way up to #66 after his quarterly ranking on March 1 was 216th.
