Fight Forecast is a recurring series at StrikeScoreMMA.com that provides a stats based preview of upcoming events. Since striking stats are not available outside the UFC, we need to get a bit creative. The following uses Fight Matrix rankings, peak rank, Tapology user votes, betting odds and Rankings Momentum.
In this case, the period used for Rankings Momentum was 1/1/2015 to 10/1/2016. Fighters must have been ranked in at least four quarters during the period to be included. Tapology scores are as of Nov. 10 at 8:30 a.m. ET. Betting odds are from 5Dimes as of Nov. 10 at 8:30 a.m. ET.
Andrey Koreshkov put himself on the global MMA map with his upset over Benson Henderson. After the fight, he is now one of the top ranked fighter in Bellator. Douglas Lima had his peak, but his ranking has mostly declined since winning his title.

Noad Lahat is a pretty big favorite over Scott Cleve. Lahat went 2-2 in his UFC run and finished with a 164 StrikeScore. His score is really dragged down by a pair of knockout losses. However, his ability to take punches, might not be an issue against Cleve. The former Division II All-American is mostly a wrestler. He is not very well known, but he has looked solid against respectable competition in his Bellator career.
Lena Ovchynnikova currently sits as a -300 favorite. For her last fight, she closed as a -210 favorite against Rebecca Ruth and ended up losing.
